RESIDENT AMERICAN ACADEMY OF OSTEOPATHY (RAAO)

The RAAO is the resident branch of the AAO.  Its purpose is to create and cultivate avenues for residents to further develop and promote the osteopathic philosophy.  We aim to help aspiring and current resident physicians maintain their connection with the osteopathic philosophy and to empower said physicians to help those around them understand the osteopathic philosophy.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the American Academy of Osteopathy is to teach, advocate and research the science, art and philosophy of osteopathic medicine, emphasizing the integration of osteopathic principles, practice and manipulative treatment in patient care. Our aim is for all patients to be aware of and have access to osteopathic medical care and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
