The Heart of Medicine has many different meanings and interpretations. For me, it is about blending together a cohesive team to create the best outcomes for patients. Much like watercolor, the blending has to be in the right amount to not muddy the final result. This principle also means giving your best effort, which requires taking breaks, moments to pause, and reflection to realign one's focus as needed. Engaging in art serves as a way for me to unwind, rejuvenate, and challenge myself, which ultimately prepares for the challenges the next day might bring. |
